Vortex Technical Services provides services to people and companies all over Houston
and to bordering cities, including Sugar Land, Pearland, Katy, The Woodlands, Humble,
Baytown and Clear Lake. We are very happy to help you no matter where you
are located, and have one of the most reasonable policies in the city
regarding trip charges. We do not charge for travel time for anywhere we can get to
within 15 minutes. After the first 15 mins. (each direction) we
bill at our regular rate. We do this to avoid having a minimum
trip charge (which is customarily 2 hrs. industry-wide) because it isn't fair
to our clients.
You shouldn't have to pay for 2 hours of work if you only need us for 30
minutes.
This map shows our coverage area. Generally, we can reach anywhere in the green shaded areas within approximately 15 mins. and the yellow shaded areas in 30 minutes or less.
This will give you an idea of whether additional charges for driving might
be incurred. So if your location is 30 minutes away from us, you would be
billed at the regular rate for an extra 30 minutes of drive time (60 mins
roundtrip - 30 mins at no charge = 30 mins billed).
